OCAG Fall 2015 Studio Tour

Daylight savings time has ended and a definite fall nip is in the air. It’s time for the Annual Orange County Artists Guild Studio Tour.

I will have lots of new work and a wall of new small framed wax pieces.

Carolina Woman Magazine featured me and 5 other OCAG artists, check it out.

I so hope to see you – I am Studio #27 open BOTH weekends, and potter Savannah Scarborough will again be downstairs.

The Orange County Artists Guild Open Studio Tour is November: 7-8 & 14-15. Hours are 10am-5pm on Saturdays and Noon-5pm on Sundays. The tour is free and open to the public.

From the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts: “This year 47 pieces of art, both 2D and 3D including paintings, photography, textiles, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture and mixed media have been selected for the show which will open on January 5th and will be up through January 25th.”

My piece featured on the cover of Genetics in Medicine Journal

My Piece Going In Circles was featured on the cover of the October 2014 Issue of Genetics in Medicine.

About the Cover:
Going in Circles (encaustic, (16” × 16”). Encaustic painting is an ancient art form fusing beeswax, damar resin, and pigments. It flourished in ancient civilizations and is once again popular, offering limitless possibilities for creativity. This painting contains embedded collage elements that add to the luminous layers and texture.
